Welcome to Fiddler's Green!

We moved into our new home in Trilogy, Rio Vista, CA on April 3 and are finally getting most of the boxes unpacked - it seems like we had hundreds of boxes! Here are a few pictures prior to the move. First is living room, then dining room, kitchen and "Spike" McRhoads inspecting the kitchen.












Mostly we've been working at the house, just attempting to get settled, but we have had time to meet some of our neighbors. Jen came out and spent the day, which was really nice. I'm really looking forward to a big family party. We're planning our first big "do" for Father's Day in June, but we hope the family will find their way here before then.

Yesterday we attended our first two Trilogy functions - the annual music festival and the annual gifts and crafts show. Over all the music was good. There were a couple of vocalists that were terrible, but the western swing band was good enough to make up for the others. The crafts show was so-so - primarily vendors with a few crocheted hand crafts and some hand made jewelry. Maybe as the population in Trilogy increases, so will the quality and quantity of the crafts. I'm looking forward to the art show in May. That show is supposed to present work from only Trilogy artists.

It's a treat to see good weather finally. Yesterday we worked outside some. The fresh air and sun were invigorating!
